Amalie's braided mittens are knitted with a long rib over the wrist that is folded double, before being knitted in a structured and braided pattern according to the diagram on the top, and in stockinette stitch on the inside of the mitten. Knit the mitten on double pointed needles, or in the round on a long circular needle with magic loop.
