Amalie socks (Danish)

Amalie socks are knitted from top to bottom in an elastic structured pattern, which molds well to the foot. Heel and toe are knitted in stockinette stitch, and the heel is shaped using the German Short Rows technique.

Indicative needles: Double pointed needles 3 mm or a long circular needle, if you want to knit with magic loop
Knitting strength: 35 m per 10 cm in structured pattern on needle 3 mm

Recommended yarn: Sandnes Yarn Sisu (50 g = 175 m). If the socks are for a baby, for example Sandnes Yarn Sunday (50 g = 235 m) can be used.
